The Biggest Business Investment in Nigeria That Generates Money

Welcome onboard and believe me I know the exact reason or some of the reason(s) why you are here. Now let look at this together, shall we:

Scenario one- You take out your phone because you have to satisfy your curiosity, this is because somethings keep telling you that you have can figure is out. Figure what out? well, we can both answer that too which is “What are the business investment in Nigeria that brings in decent long-lasting returns”

Scenario two- You ended up here just because you have some questions bugging your mind and deep inside of you, you are too smart not to be earning via multiple streams. But here comes the real challenge, first you are doubtful “Is there any legit business investment in Nigeria”, in addition you are skeptical “Which business investment in Nigeria can be profitable enough for long-term”.

Scenario three- Oh there you are, actively looking for investment updates lol. And this time around you want something within your budget, so you took out your device and search for “What to invest in with 100,000 Naira” because you don’t have much right now or let say you even have all the funds needed to invest but you still need to know “Is Nigeria a good place to invest”.

However,

You’re probably thinking what’s the biggest investment in Nigeria that can generate money for you. I’ve thought about that too and just like you, I’ve surfed the internet hoping to find the perfect answer. This article however, would reveal some of my findings and thoughts to you.

The Nigerian market space is a competitive one – it gives you the numbers (customer base) but it’s also saturated with competition that has caused so many other businesses to shut down

These are some of the sectors that would generate so much money for you in Nigeria:

1. Agriculture sector: The agriculture sector is wide and important for nations; I mean it’s a basic plus it’s essential for the survival of mankind. Now, imagine yourself in that sector that nations need for it’s survival; interesting, right? I bet you’re beginning to see the vast chances in the agricultural sector that can generate wealth for you.

The rich men in the country are even into this sector too whether as the original farmers or the ones that turn raw products into consumables, one notable example is Aliko Dangote and another is the man that research has crowned the richest farmer in Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.

By 2030, Dr Akinwunmi projected that the food and agric business in Africa will hit $1 trillion, and he advised those thinking of how to make money to shift base to the sector.

Some of the departments in the agriculture sector you can get into is yam and or cassava farming, fish and or poultry farming, snail farming, vegetables farming, fruit farming and many more.

2. Food business: Well, you don’t want to go into farming and doing the “dirty” work. You can go into food business.

This sector works hand in hand with the Agriculture sector and so there’s no way you’re running out of money in the food business because it’s an essential for human survival.

Start a bakery, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, a fruit juice company.

3. Fashion business: Another human essential, the basic need for clothes. In this sector you could set out as a fashion design with creativity and designs get into the fashion market or you could just buy clothes (thrift) to sell or even sell materials.

One thing for sure is that there’s money in the fashion sector, people have to wear clothes, some can afford the fancy ones and this is one sector you might want to consider investing in.

In 2020, Forbes termed Folorunso Alakija the richest woman in Nigeria and “the most powerful woman in Africa.” She started her career in fashion design, establishing a successful clothing line.

4. Church/Mosque: The key to generating wealth is having access to people, that’s one thing that I have learnt. People might come all out to say they don’t have money but when you can tweak their emotions then you can get what you want from them. The church/mosque has truck loads of people attending and then the ones who lead them have some sort of power over them.

These leaders can spur members to support a course even monetarily. Churches/Mosques can make money from donations, offerings and even investments in other businesses.

Most of these churches/mosques have schools (primary, secondary and even higher institutions).

The Nigerian population is over 200 million, key into one of these sectors and invest then you’ve just taken the first step in generating money for yourself.
